Man is the prime object of God’s creation. Man is made in the image and likeness of God to enjoy His company and to be like Him in character. Because of this, we have a tremendous capacity for doing good. Even so,we have a tendency to disobey God, or in other words, to sin. Sin distances us from God and causes many problems.

God is the Creator and Ruler of the Universe and has existed eternally in three persons: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. These three are equal and are one God. The Trinity is the Tri- unity.

Jesus Christ is divine, for that reason he is our Saviour and is, therefore, equal to the Father. Jesus Christ, conceived by the deed and grace of the Holy Spirit in the Virgin Mary’s womb, lived without sin. By dying on the cross he offered himself as the perfect sacrifice, the unique redeemer for the sins of those, who having repented, trust in Him. He rose from the dead on the third day to demonstrate His victory and power over sin and death and to show that His sacrifice is sufficient for our salvation. He ascended into Heaven and will return again to reign for all eternity as King of kings and Lord of lords.

The Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is divine, for this reason it is able to be our constant helper, and therefore, equal to the Father and the Son of God. Its presence in the world makes us aware of our need for Jesus Christ, it enables us to approach God and brings us to repentance. The Holy Spirit lives in each and every Christian from the moment that he acknowledges Jesus as the only Saviour. It provides Christians with an understanding of the spiritual truths, indicates the way that is right and gives him strength to live according to the will of God. It also gives to each believer a spiritual gift at the moment of his salvation, as a ‘birthday present’. As Christians we should live under the Holy Spirit’s control on a daily basis, moment by moment and use the gifts we receive for the benefit of others.

Salvation is God’s gift to us, a present. We cannot compensate for our sins by means of good works or personal struggle, we can only be saved through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, God’s offering for the forgiveness of our sins. God gives us eternal life through Jesus Christ , for this reason the believer can be sure of eternal salvation.. Salvation cannot be lost, it is obtained and kept by the grace and power of God working in us. Our fidelity and commitment to the Lord is our logical and obligatory response.

We humans were created to live for ever in a perfect relationship with our Creator, but today we exist either separated from God by sin or united eternally with God thanks to His pardon and salvation. Eternal separation from God is Hell, but eternal union with Him is eternal life. Heaven and Hell are real places where we exist for ever and that cannot be changed once we are dead.
